I have been reading beauty and fashion blogs for a while now; coveting all the delicious items displayed in posts which now deluge my bookmark bar. So today, with it being the first day of the month and all, I've decided to take the plunge. Let's see how this floats.
Some nice fickle fancies to ease me in I think:
Yesterday, whilst roaming the streets on my lunch hour, I somehow (?) ended up in Boots on double points day. I know; Madness!
So I opt for : a YSL Rouge Volupte in 30, YSL Touche Eclat, and Chloe eau de parfum.
Don't ask me how this happened because I have no clue. I just know that in between me entering a shop to "have a quick look" and then leaving, some voodoo happens. Before I know it I'm at the till purchasing far more than i ever intended because:
A) Hello? Didn't you hear what I said? It was double points day!
B) "Did you know that if you buy the Touch Eclat along with the Rouge Volupte you'll get another £7.50 back on your boots card?" "What, Really? So if I spend another £25 I'll get less than a third of that back to feed into your store on yet even more items I don't really need? ... I'm in!"
... and
C) I really, reaaaaally liked them!
As for the much hyped Touch Eclat, You were a little pricey but I plan to use you sparingly so I think we are going to get along rather well.
Chloe, what can I say? You smelt good. Welcome to your new abode!
